Hi there! I'm Catherine, who wishes I had been called Catie, but it's ok! I love words and I'm repeatedly taken back by the power they hold. God has gripped me with his Word. I love meeting friends to exchange words over coffee (with good creamer) and it is so often in these face-to-face spaces that the Lord uses these sisters to speak straight into my heart. It is in the quiet corner of my house with a soft blanket that my heart beams as I soak in the words of sister-saints who push me into the arms of Jesus through their words. Words matter. Stories hold the unique ability to reach into the inner chambers of our hearts. I chuckle with the Lord that I so strongly disliked the school part of school, only preferring the social side of school ( I once had to write "I will not talk in class" 100x as my punishment), so the irony that I have become such a book worm and writer tickles me. I am the most unqualified published author there ever was, but God is the author of our stories and we can smile together as he writes them so much sweeter than we ever could. Day-by-day I am falling deeper in love with God the Father, the one who makes all things new. I thought it would be such a humble honor to dive into his arms together with our pain, disappointments, joys, hopefully laughter and give each other biblical encouragement in this space!
