We have these bowls at least once a week in our house, even in the wintertime! My husband's 37th birthday was yesterday and this is what he requested for his birthday dinner! They are tasty and nutrient-dense and the whole fam will love them! You can find frozen Acai packets in all grocery stores near the frozen, bagged fruit.
Cheers to the last month of this sweltering, summer heat! ;)
Ingredients:
Acai (2 packets)
2 Frozen Bananas
1 cup of soy milk (or any plant milk)
1 tbsp peanut butter (gives it a smooth, creamy texture)
*Optional: protein powder (I like the Sun Warrior brand - they have so many delish flavors! LINK Here )
*Makes 3 servings
Optional Toppings:
fresh berries, sliced banana, diced mango, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, chocolate chips, shredded coconut, peanut butter, maple syrup, granola (see my previous granola recipe)
Blend ingredients in a high-speed blender
Top with your favorite toppings!
