Happy Tasty Thursday y'all! Growing up, I loved myself a Snickers bar!
I haven't had one in years because of this Date-based Snickers re-make!
If you have a sweet tooth and are trying to give your body wholesome foods then you'll love this! Especially if, like me, Snicker's flavor combos are your jam!
P.S. This recipe (if you can even call it that?!) could not be quicker or easier!
Ingredients:
Dates
Peanut butter
Chocolate chips (vegan if you are trying not to consume animal products because traditional ones contain milk)
Sea Salt
Directions:
Soak your dates for 5-10 minutes. This will make them soft and chewy!
Remove dates from soaking water and remove the pits (in the center of the date) and stem (the small hard part at one end of the date)
Open dates wide and fill with about a tsp of peanut butter (honestly however much you want!)
Place 2-3 chocolate chips on top of the peanut butter
Sprinkle with sea salt
Close like a sandwich and enjoy this guilt-free, delicious treat that tastes like a Snickers bar!
Happy Tasty-ing Thursday, Friends! Let me know if you make this one and if you like it as much as I do! XOXO
